Carol and Kieran Grogan Memorial Scholarship

Carol Ann Grogan lived in the New Lisbon School District for over 30 years. She was a substitute teacher and served for years with the PTA and other organizations. Carol worked very hard throughout her life to make sure that her 13 children graduated from New Lisbon High School.

Carol's life was dedicated to the care of her children. She gave the gifts of kindness, loyalty, enthusiasm for life, dedication, hard work and morality to each member of her family. She wished to give back to a community that helped her so much through the years she spent raising so many New Lisbon High School graduates. One instance in particular that the Grogan family will always remember was when Carol had to be hospitalized for many months due to an extreme health condition. Many people in the New Lisbon community helped her family in different ways to carry them through that time of difficulty. She and her family greatly appreciated that help and wished to give back.

Wisconsin State Telecommunications Foundation Scholarship Program

Apply

Students in graduating classes of high schools in Wisconsin are eligible for a Foundation scholarship. Each applicant must be endorsed by a participating local exchange telephone company. AT&T and Centurylink do not participate in the WSTF Scholarship process. If you are in AT&T or Centurylink serving areas, you are not eligible to apply for a WSTF scholarship. Academic excellence is taken into consideration but is not paramount to receiving one of the scholarships. The primary considerations are: First, the student has expressed a sincere desire to continue his or her education; Second, has demonstrated the ability; and Third, has financial need.
