Spring rolls

Fresh spring rolls can be a healthy addition to your diet because they are packed with fresh vegetables and herbs; providing vitamins, minerals, and fiber, while being low in calories and fat. This week students in Nutrition and Meal Planning made spring rolls as they worked on their cutting techniques, worked with rice paper, and tried new and different combinations of vegetables.  Students are expanding their knowledge of how food works in the body as we explore terms such as antioxidants, anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial, immunity, and energy boosters.--
