Hey Seniors!! ** Graduation Information **
Weather Permitting - we are planning an outdoor graduation on the athletic field
TIMELINE:
* Thursday, May 27 - Last full day for seniors
* Friday, May 28, 10:00 - Graduation Practice (all seniors participating MUST be in attendance) - location TBD - will let you know the week of graduation
*Saturday, May 29,
* 9:30 - arrive at school (specific location TBD) with cap and gown
* 10:00 - ceremony begins
* parade following the ceremony (details provided the week of graduation)
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:
* You will receive 6 tickets each - more about this below
* OUTDOOR CEREMONY
* 6 tickets are for bleacher seating only
* unlimited seating will be in designated areas of the football field
* mask-wearing is encouraged
* INDOOR CEREMONY (HS gym) - if it rains
* 6 tickets per student for the gym - there will be no extra seating
* Mask-wearing will be mandatory

The New Lisbon Track and Field teams competed at the Ginger Morrey Track and Field Invitational today alongside Ithaca, Wonewoc Center, Seneca, Riverdale, Royall, Cuba City, Iowa-Grant, Boscobel, Desoto, North Crawford and Southwestern. Our boys team took 3rd place overall and our girls team took 6th overall.
Individually for the Rockets:
Owen Jones swept the distance races with first places in the 800, mile, and 2 mile. The 4 x 200 team of Chris Hart, Carson Welter, Austin Hare, and Dylan O’Brien brought home second. The 4 x 800 team of Devan Menard, Ethan Dvorak, Matthew Bennet, and Malakai Dunham placed 3rd. Rounding out the medals or the boys was Chris Harts in the 300-meter hurdles.
The girls team did amazing coming in 6th place with only 6 athletes competing. Leading the way for the lady rockets was Jaiden Hart who took first in the 200-meter dash. Amelia Retzlaff took 2nd places in both the shot and discus. Megan Jones also brought home 2nd in the 400 meters.
We head to Kickapoo on Monday and then will be gearing up for our home meets next Saturday at our new athletic facility! We hope to see you there! ~ Coach Bigalke

NLHS Softball defeats Brookwood 11-2 in last night's HOME OPENER!
Here is a bit of a summary...
Sammy had a great night for us pitching, striking out 7 and allowing just 3 hits in 5 innings.
Libby was busy at the plate. Kels and her caught a girl trying to steal and Sammy and Libby teamed up to get a girl trying to take home on a grounder.
Hopie had two nice foul ball catches in left. Megan took care of a girl with a tag out trying to take third. Cadynce took control and stiff armed the whole team for a high pop up.
Megan has slid more this year than she has her entire life. And our base running...is a work in a progress.

Libby Rogers hit our field's FIRST EVER home run. It was a real beauty, line drive, right over center.

If a parent/student decides to take an 'at home' COVID test, in order for it to be accepted, it would need to be a test that is provided by the state of Wisconsin, sent in and resulted in a lab (a PCR test). The instant COVID tests are not able to be taken as an accurate negative test here at school. Thank you, Mrs. Preuss/School Nurse
