8th grade students in Family and Consumer Education are focusing on food prep skills and choices regarding healthy eating habits. “I feel best when I eat nutritious food.” And “I am realizing that it is worth it in the long run to put time and effort into your food.”, were two powerful student reflections.

These five Rockets flew all the way to Luther College in Iowa on Sunday! They participated in the Dorian Band Festival and even spent the night on campus. They spent hours in rehearsal and ended Monday night with a grand concert to showcase that work. They performed with students from about 90 different schools and both bands they performed with had approximately 150 students! We are SO proud of these students!
