March Fitness Center Schedule

Thanks to the generosity of several individuals and families we already have 80 free tickets available to students for Tuesday's playoff game. Mr. Pfaff will have a signup sheet in the office for students to claim a free ticket. You must be one of the first 80 to sign up before the end of the day Tuesday to ensure a free ticket. If more tickets become available, Mr. Pfaff will make sure it is announced. Thanks to everyone who donated.

We are SO proud of these Rockets! While most of their friends had the day off they were at school at 7am heading for the Couleeland Honors Band! They spent the day making music with students from 15 different schools!

The Girls' Regional Basketball game for tonight against Alma Center has been pushed up a half hour. The game will start at 5:00 PM.

Next Tuesday the boys basketball team will be hosting a first round regional game against Gilmanton. We are hoping to fill our gym with as many Rocket fans as possible. To help make this happen, we are hoping to find area businesses or individuals willing to help out students with the ticket cost. Tickets are $6 so a $100 donation would let 16 students in for free. Any donations should be made to the HS office. Please contact Coach Pfaff at j.pfaff@nlsd.k12.wi.us or at 608-548-8888 if you have questions or are interested. Thank you.

On Monday, February 20th, 35 New Lisbon Students in Mr. Morey's Welding courses got the opportunity to learn more about the Wabash Company. Students learned about what Wabash Manufactures, what they look for in a model employee, skills needed to be successful in the workplace, as well as the starting wage and benefits that Wabash provides for their employees. Students got to see samples of Tig welds as well as learn about Wabash's new training center. Special thanks to Mike, Mitchell, Bobby, and Christine for taking time out of their day to help expose New Lisbon Students to a local, high demand and high skilled career.
